My Beautiful City produced Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Art of Precision evening within the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition, merging high watchmaking with performance and architecture. The night opened with a Letters Live programme performed by Benedict Cumberbatch, Juliet Stevenson, Ellie Bamber and Clarke Peters, amplifying the initiative’s literacy mission before guests moved into a seated gala dinner. Across the galleries, “craftsman at work” vignettes and curated displays showcased the Maison’s icons, including the Gyrotourbillon 5, tying Métiers d’Art to modern wearability.
Our design and technical direction built a soundscape from the Gyro 5’s Westminster-Quarters chime (originally based on Handel’s Messiah), synchronised with a blue-washed architectural lighting scheme that animated the Royal Academy’s volumes. Wayfinding, guest flow and pacing were engineered for seamless transitions between performance, exhibition and dinner, delivering a contemplative, cinematic brand experience that landed powerfully in-room and on camera
