Alexa Chung SS19 Runway

My Beautiful City produced Alexa Chung’s first London Fashion Week runway show. Inspired by architect Carlo Scarpa, we imagined a trippy 1970s airport for ‘Arrivals and Departures,' ’a conceptual maze of timber panels, infinity mirrors and leafy planting. Perspective play and engineered sightlines made models appear, vanish and reappear, subverting the traditional runway with a surreal, disorienting pace.
