To echo the Beat Generation inspired AW ‘22 runway show, My Beautiful City transformed 14 Cavendish, a grand, time-worn townhouse, into a clandestine 1950s salon. Rooms were curated with period books and memorabilia, inviting guests to wander a “private home” for the Beats before the show. Live bands animated the house, while Cellar Society served considered food and cocktails. Lighting, sound and flow were plotted to feel intimate and illicit, an immersive pre-show gathering that transported Dior’s world back to mid-century America
