Versus Versace
Spring Summer 18 Runway Show
The Central Saint Martins’ King's Cross Campus was home to My Beautiful City’s production of the Versus Versace SS18 show during London Fashion Week.
The venue was a fitting choice, given Donatella Versace recently announcing that Versace would be sponsoring a scholarship at the school in Gianni Versace’s name, offering financial support to young designers.
Built across the back of the venue was an immense wall of stacked speakers, blasting out the soundtrack that set the scene for the collection’s youthful inspiration.
An oversized paper installation that spelled out the word “Versus”, created a moving mosaic and brought a playfulness to an otherwise austere space.
