To celebrate Dior men’s creative director Kim Jones’ curation and edit of A Magazine Curated By’s 19th Issue, My Beautiful City was commissioned to throw an intimate A-list party at Two Temple Place, a neo-gothic mansion initially built for William Waldorf Astor to house his private art collection.
The venue was transformed into a characterful den, with luxury draped satin curtains, hanging lighting installations and floral decor reinventing the space and showcasing Jones’ curated artwork in unconventional and dynamic ways — both traditional gallery style and as part of a mise en scène concept.
Jones' 26 'alphabet pages' featured the works of friends and collaborators, from contemporary artists such as Kaws, Hajime Sorayama, Takashi Murakami, as well as Dior house milliner Stephen Jones, R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe, and Louis Vuitton men’s creative director Virgil Abloh.
Lighting artist Nathaniel Rackowe created a unique art installation, while DJs Honey Dijon and Princess Julia played on bespoke DJ decks, keeping the party going through the night.
