Alexander Wang and Bvlgari celebrated the global launch of their limited-edition capsule collection with exclusive parties held in New York City at the iconic Henri Bendel building on Fifth Avenue and in Shanghai at the Bvlgari Hotel.
Both venues were reimagined as ‘80s-era luxury department stores, complete with credit-card-themed VIP invites. Mannequins showcased the collection and doubled as backdrops for content moments.
In New York, guests enjoyed custom manicures by Mei Kawajiri in the nail salon, sundaes poured in branded ‘skincare’ containers at the cosmetics counter, cocktails served over glass cabinets filled with velvet busts in the fine jewellery department, VIP treatments in the wig lounge, and a program of performances in the electronics department.
The evening featured music from Rick Ross, Wale, and Normani along with Dj sets by Bambii, Asmara, and Pedro Cavaliere.
