Versus Versace presented their SS17 collection in Ambika P3, an underground hanger.
As guests entered, spotlights scanned the otherwise dark space. The show opened with an electric display which brought together light and bespoke projection content.
The lights and projections — a collaboration with United Visual Artists — became static, forming a tunnel of light beams that appeared to extend into infinity, through which models stomped down the catwalk.
The futuristic lighting installation framed the runway and combined with an industrial setting, provided a hard-edged backdrop that complimented the collection and its distinctive aesthetic. Electronic music synchronised to the lighting created a dramatic, suspenseful backdrop to the evocative affair.
